Donation of the Year
When Joey Giannini turned 6 in November 2010, he would not have known that his birthday wish would turn into a family tradition. To help his brothers and sisters in Kenya less fortunate than he is, he humbly asked his family and friends to donate to Canadian Hearts and Hands instead of buying him birthday presents.
Seven months later, younger brother Elias followed in Joey's footsteps and made the same request for his 5th birthday. The boys' selfless act has not only provided hope for the children Canadian Hearts and Hands serves in Kenya; it also gave their loved ones the gift of giving.
Canadian Hearts and Hands would like to thank the Giannini Family for their generosity, and for providing a shining example of how "....it is more blessed to give than to recieve." ( Acts 20:35)
