Chahira Tadros
Chahira has been a teacher with the Conseil Scolaire de District Catholique Centre Sud (CSDCCS) since 1992. She has a Special Education degree from the University of Toronto, and also received a Masters degree in Theological studies from U of T in November 2003. Chahira has been an R.C.I.A. instructor for the Archdiocese of Toronto since 1996, and has also served as a Sunday School teacher and director for many years.

Huguette Pelletier-Maclean
Huguette graduated with a Bachelors degree in Special Education at
Université du Québec at Rimouski. She’s been teaching in Ontario since 1982,
and is now a consultant for Conseil Scolaire de District Catholique Centre Sud
(CSDCCS) . Huguette joined Canadian Hearts and Hands based on her desire to
make a difference by helping those in need.

Essam Saleh
Essam has been a pharmacist in Ontario since 1984, and has operated his own
pharmacy in Markham, Ontario since 1990. He has been a member of different
Catholic Church communities, acting most recently as head of the Parish Council.
He is married with two boys.

Shirley Khalil
As part of the organization committee for World Youth Day 2002 at St. Ambrose Parish,
Shirley met the youth group members that became the first missionary group for
Canadian Hearts and Hands, and traveled to Mexico in 2003 and 2004. Aside from
Canaidan Hearts and Hands, she is also involved in music ministry.
Shirley received a Master of Music Therapy degree from Wilfrid Laurier University
in October 2005, and currently works as a music therapist in long-term care.

Rev. Father Makarios Isaac"I find joy and fulfillment in Canadian Hearts and Hands, working with lay and religious people to serve my brothers and sisters in different countries."
After serving in the Archdiocese of Toronto for a number of years, Fr. Makarios Isaac joined the Catholic Foreign Mission Society; otherwise known as the Maryknoll Fathers . He currently exercises his priestly ministry in Africa, where he is assigned.
Rev. Father Joseph Singh
Fr. Joseph M. Singh has been ordained as a priest for 12 years for the Archdiocese of Toronto. For the past 2 years, he has served the community of St. Justin Martyr Parish and has supported Canadian Hearts and Hands.
